Dentin MC

Aesthetic ceramic coating on top of a metal base

The material imitates the natural transparency of enamel.
Dentin is used to create a layer that forms the anatomical basis of the simulated tooth.

Mix the ceramic powder (dentin and the corresponding cutter) with the modeling liquid until a creamy consistency is obtained. To apply Opaque dentin, dentine and incisor ceramics are applied in small portions to the neck and interdental area and compacted with light vibration. Then a more matte dentine, dentine chips or incisor is applied according to the location of the layers on the tooth. Important note: Before further application of porcelain stoneware, clean the frame and layers with steam or water and brush thoroughly.

  • 1st dentin/incisor treatment

After applying the dentin, the crown is placed on a baking tray at an initial temperature of 400 ° C. The oven is then closed for 4 minutes, and then heated at a rate of 60 K /min at rarefaction (rarefaction starts at 450 ° C) to 920 ° C (baking temperature). Exposure time: 1 minute (without dilution). After completing the first dentine/incisor treatment, cut off the crown or bridge and clean it. Then apply a second layer of dentine and incisor to complete the second dentine treatment.

  • 2nd dentin/incisor treatment

The procedure is the same as for the first firing of dentine, except for the firing temperature of 910 °C. All subsequent dentine treatments should be carried out at a temperature of 900 ° C. * Dentin and incisor treatment is also possible in one go, and this is also a common practice.
