Enamel MC

Aesthetic ceramic coating on top of a metal base.

Enamel imitates the incisive transparency of enamel.
It is applied on top of the dentine mass. When applying the Enamel for the first time, you should focus on the adjacent teeth and restore the necessary anatomy of the restoration by 10% more than the desired result.

    • 1st Enamel treatment: After applying the Enamel, the crown is placed on a baking tray at an initial temperature of 400 °C. The oven is then closed for 4 minutes, and then heated at a rate of 60 K /min at rarefaction (rarefaction starts at 450 ° C) to 920 ° C (baking temperature). Exposure time: 1 minute (without permission). After completing the first enamel treatment, cut off the crown or bridge and clean it. Then apply a second coat of Enamel to complete the second dentine treatment.

2nd enamel treatment: The procedure is the same as for the first firing of dentine, except for the firing temperature of 910 °C. All subsequent dentine treatments should be carried out at a temperature of 900 °C.

  • Enamel treatment is also possible in one step, and this is also a common practice.
