Opal ZR

Aesthetic ceramic coating applied over a baked resistant substructure based on ultra hard zircon and sodium oxide.

A light-curing, highly aesthetic nanohybrid composite filling material for performing direct restorations of anterior and lateral teeth. the material gives excellent aesthetics and creates color reproduction for any clinical case. Opalescence is manifested in living teeth in the area of the cutting edge. The mass for the cutting edge of the tooth, playing in the light. Depending on the angle of incidence of the light, it may appear transparent or slightly muted.

  • 1st Opal firing (cutting edge mass)

After applying the material, the crown is installed on a treger with a preheating temperature of 400 °C. Then the furnace is closed, the drying time is 4 minutes, then it is heated at 45 K/min with vacuum (vacuum on 450 ° C) to 780 °C (firing temperature). Exposure time: 1 minute (in the absence of vacuum). For several bridge prostheses that require more ceramic material, it is necessary to increase the firing temperature by 20-30 °C. After completing the first firing of the cutting edge mass, process the crown or bridge with a diamond tool and clean it. Then apply a second layer of material (cutting edge mass) for the second firing.

  • 2nd firing of the cutting edge mass

The same procedure as for the first firing of the material, only at a firing temperature 10 °C lower. Each subsequent firing of the material must be carried out at a temperature of 760 °C.

  • *Simultaneous firing of dentine and cutting edge mass is possible
